First of all, I want to thank Pixie Beauty for sending me this amazing collection. Last year (2020), the vitamin C skincare products were really popular. After using these goodies, I know what the hype is about.
Let’s start with these amazing primer. This oil primer is really lightweight, and it blurs the skin perfectly. If you have an oily skin like me, you will need to do a little touch up through out the day if you use it under your makeup.
This brightening cream is lightweight and evens out my skin. I do not recommend this product for your under makeup if your skin is oily.
I use this eye cream in the mornings. This product is also lightweight. The color of this product is cream color, which helps with minor dark circles.
This lip balm is sheer and gives your lips a soft color. This product is amazing for dry lips.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and happy shopping
Saturday Skin gifted me these two products to try and share my reviews with you. Saturday Skin is a Korean brand and now, it is available on Sephora. This brand is in the “Clean Beauty” category and you know how much I like clean beauties these days. I wish all the brands/products were clean and toxic free.
This product is good for blemishes, pores, uneven skin textures, and dullness. To be honest, I see some differences on my blemishes, but I did not see any changes on my pores, YET. I will keep using it more and I will update you on my Instagram stories (@shahrzad.blogger)
This Product has Vitamin C, and I know you guys saw that Vitamin C skin products are really popular this year. The texture of this product is like a gel. According to Sephora’s website, this product is a lightweight mask that works while you sleep to deliver moisture while targeting the look of aging, dullness, pores, stress, and texture. I saw some changes in my skin texture. My skin feels really soft after I used this product.
Both are these products are good for all skin types.
I shared a little bit of myself in my last post, and it seemed like you guys liked it. I wanted to write another blog post to share about how Ryan and I met.
First of all, Ryan’s Korean name is Byungwook. Because we live in the United States, he introduce himself as Ryan. It is easier for people pronounce.
My sister and I were friends with an exchange Korean student. She came to the United States to study English. As a part-time job, she used to work at a Korean restaurant. Because our friend didn’t have a car, my sister and our friends were always hanging out in that restaurant. We all became friends with the owner of the restaurant.
One day, the owner of the restaurant asked us if we want to meet his friends, and we all said yes because Korean culture was interesting to us. He invited around five of his friends to his restaurant and my friends and I met them there. Ryan and I met that night. We talked all night, eat, and drank. After dinner, we went to a karaoke place and we sang and drank again.
That night, Ryan and I exchange our phone numbers and we started texting each other every single day. We talked for few months, until we decided that we want to date. We became couples in March 2012, and we got married five years latter.
I hope you liked my today’s post and I will talk to you later.
I shared this recipe few weeks ago on my stories (@shahrzad.blogger), but I also want to share it here (in case if you guys missed it). I learned this recipe from Seonkyoung Longest. This side dish is really easy to make and it is really delicious.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
1/4 Tsp salt
3 Tbsp flour
Cut the zucchinis. Then, place them in a bag, and add the salt and flour. Shake them well until all the zucchinis are covered with salt and flour.
Coat the zucchinis with egg.
Fry them until they are golden.
THAT WAS IT. sooo easy and delicious.
I hope you enjoyed today’s blog post. I will talk to you in my next blog post. BYE
If you follow me on my Instagram (@shahrzadblogger), you saw that I did an unboxing for these lovely palettes that Pixi Beauty sent me. I had some time to play with these palettes and now I am here to share them with you. When I first tried these palettes, I was so shocked that how silky they are. They are so soft and easy to blend. These palettes are Paraben free and not tested on animals.
Please leave comment and let me know which palette is your favorite.
It’s been few years that I am trying to be good with recycling. I always had one trash can in my kitchen, and not enough space for another trash can for recycling. Thanks to EKO they solved my problem. They have a trash can with dual compartment. It doesn’t get better than this. With the dual compartment, it is so much easier to recycle and save the earth.
My trash can is 20L+20L and it is a perfect size for my kitchen. I cannot be happier with my package. You don’t need to worry to shop this trash can online because they shipped it in TWO cardboard boxes, so it won’t get damage at all. The customer service is also amazing. If you have more question, feel free to ask them.
I will include some of the highlights for this stunning dual compartment trash can here for you.
Dual compartments easily separate your recyclables from your household trash
I am here today to share my Botox experience with you that I did at Jules Aesthetics & Wellness Boutique (San Antonio, TX) by Shakira. I will include my before and after pictures for you and answer few questions that I got on my Instagram stories (@shahrzad.blogger)
I have to say the clinic is extremely clean, and you have to wait in your car until they send you a text to go inside. Shakira is so professional, nice, and polite that I wasn’t nervous at all.
I was concerned about my forehead and Shakira injected 35 unites of Botox (there are different brands available. Ask your aesthetic injector what brand is best for you). She asked me to come back in two weeks to see if she needs to inject more because it is possible that one side might need more. I will include my before and after pictures here for you. They are two weeks apart.
Question 1 – Am I going to look different?
You will see some changes, but I don’t think people will notice that I got Botox. Each area of your face will need a certain amount of units, and if you don’t over due it, you will look natural (which I love).
Question 2 – Did it hurt?
Not really. I think it is really important who is injecting it for you.
Question 3 – How much does it cost?
Each unit costs $12, so it depends on how many units you will need.
Question 4 – Howlong does it last?
Each body is different and each brand will act differently. The botox brand last around six months for me, but in general I think it is around three to six months.
If you have more questions regarding Botox, please DM Shakira on her Instagram account (@lipsdontlieshakira)
